Andrea Palmer
Andrea is the first CEO of the CRREM Foundation, appointed in July 2025. She brings deep expertise in responsible investment, ESG integration, and climate risk assessment from four years at PGGM, where she managed global real estate securities on behalf of PFZW and chaired their climate risk working group. She previously held roles at LaSalle Investment Management and Triodos IM, and served on the GRESB Real Estate Standards Committee.
Hunter Kuhlwein
Hunter leads CRREM's technical infrastructure and core pathway development. He has managed the CRREM Pathways platform since 2021, overseeing data infrastructure, communications systems, and the technical methodology behind CRREM's global decarbonization pathways. He holds a Master's in Real Estate Economics from IRE|BS and brings prior experience from JLL and meravis Immobiliengruppe.
Julia Wein
Julia manages CRREM's stakeholder network and leads the further development of the Foundation's operations. She brings nearly ten years of experience in the real estate sector, including property valuation and consulting, and assumed responsibility for CRREM's operational management in January 2023. She holds a Master's in Real Estate from IRE|BS and is an external doctoral candidate researching sustainability in real estate.
Dr. Sebastian Leutner
Sebastian manages the CRREM Pathways, databases, communications, network, and organization. Promoted to Associate Director in January 2026, he completed his doctorate at IRE|BS in December 2025 and holds dual master's degrees in real estate (IRE|BS and Bayes Business School). Prior to CRREM, he worked across real estate investment and finance at Kingstone Investment Management, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, and Hines.
Omar Ali
Omar advises the Foundation on governance design, product architecture, and market development as CRREM scales from a scientific initiative into a global standard-setting body. His work focuses on licensing and accreditation frameworks, value-based pricing, and executive-ready communications. He brings experience from ABN AMRO (sustainability), Metabolic (commercial partnerships), and a background in systems thinking and strategic communications.
Charlotte Matthews
Charlotte brings 40+ years of combined experience in building design, construction management, and climate technology to CRREM's strategic advisory. As Co-Managing Director at Rocky Mountain Institute, she leads efforts to decarbonize the global buildings sector. Her career includes leadership roles at Sidewalk Labs, Related Companies (where she supervised 30+ LEED-certified buildings including Hudson Yards), and Google.
Michael Hogenboom
Michael leads CRREM's partner ecosystem and market expansion. He brings 6+ years from Celonis, where he built the sustainability practice from a technical proof of concept into a full go-to-market motion across EMEA. His career spans aerospace engineering and satellite data analysis to data science consulting to sustainability tech leadership, with degrees from Delft University of Technology.
Missy Morrow
Missy provides administrative and operational support to the CRREM leadership team from the Amsterdam office. She brings a strong background in operations, marketing coordination, and event management from roles across Australia and the Netherlands, including positions at Amaseu and WRAP Consulting Engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (Honours) from RMIT University.
